Because Opalescence PF comes in different concentrations and flavors, you can get custom whitening. Opalescence PF 10 is a professional-grade tooth-whitening gel with 10% carbamide peroxide. The lower concentration makes this system flexible to suit your needs. You can wear Opalescence PF 10 for 8 to 10 hours or leave it in while you sleep.
What do I get?
4 Syringes of Opalescence PF 10 tooth-whitening gel. Each tube contains enough gel to complete one whitening session using both upper and lower trays.

How do I use it?
You use Opalescence PF 10 with your own bleaching trays. Uncap the tube and release the contents into your trays, moving from one molar to the other and creating a continuous bead of whitening gel. As you do so, aim the syringe tip toward the front side. One tube should be just enough to fill both trays. Place the trays into the mouth and press them lightly to ensure contact. Wipe away any excess gel from the gums. Discard the syringe. Do not save the remaining gel, as it will lose effectiveness once the tube is open.
Leave Opalescence PF 10 in for 8 to 10 hours. If you prefer, you can insert your trays before bed and sleep while the whitening gel works. After the prescribed treatment time, take the trays out and remove leftover gel with a finger or clean toothbrush. Rinse your mouth twice with lukewarm water, being sure not to swallow any gel. Wash your trays with cool water, using a clean toothbrush to remove stubborn gel. Store your trays properly once dry.

Is it safe?
Yes! The active ingredient in Opalescence PF 10 is carbamide peroxide, a bleaching agent that's both safe and effective. The added potassium nitrate decreases sensitivity, and the fluoride strengthens your enamel to prevent tooth decay.
To protect your gums, avoid overloading your trays. The teeth do not need to be completely covered with whitening gel. Opalescence PF 10 will diffuse evenly throughout the tooth enamel. Using less product is better for your oral health and more economical, too.
